In today’s cyber world an owner of vacation home (I would think the majority) realizes that he has to establish an Internet presence.  For most of the owners it will be

1. Vacation rental own website
2. Listings in portal
3. Other Internet marketing avenues

#3 (we will talk about it in the future) consists of press releases, links and mentioning from other sites, pages on local government and business directories, yellow pages, etc. We don’t have much control over the code and many times a content on sites like that. And we can not dramatically change something there to build better organic search results.

The most control we have over our own vacation rental website (s) and we have a great control over a content on every portal where we list our holiday homes. For now we will be working on #2 - Listings in portals.
