I decided to start this blog to learn and educate vacation rental owners including myself on the subject of SEO - search engine optimization.

As everyone who is working with webdevelopement today, SEO is a facinating and painful subject. For me running a very large dynamic vacation rental portal is an important subject.

It is hard to know everything about SEO, but this is the ultimate goal - to know how we can bring our sites to the very top. The area of vacation rental industry is a very specific market and certain things are just not addressed the way they should. We are still confised - are our listing details considered duplicated content? Do we need to hire a professional SEO company to “optimize” our vacation rental site? How much money we should budget for all search engine related promotion?

I truly hope we will answer all this questions one day.
